Invitation to audition will be based on your application, creative portfolio, motivation letter and references, so be sure that your application is complete and gives a good overview of your professional experience, artistic vision and creative ambition.
Audition DatesIf your application has been successful, you will be invited to take part in one of our international auditions, which will take place as follows:
10-12 April 2019 London (United Kingdom)
14-16 April 2019 Tallinn (Estonia)
19-21 April 2019 Seoul (South Korea)
24-26 April 2019 New York (USA)
During the online application, we will ask you where you would prefer to attend an audition. Auditions include a workshop, various creative tasks and an interview. Details about the process, including what to prepare, will be sent to candidates who are invited to audition.
Audition ResultsWe aim to let all applicants know about the audition results by 30 April 2019.
The decision will be one of the following:
• We make you an offer to study on the course. After receiving your offer, you have three weeks to accept or decline your offer. Please note that you are not able to defer your study place to the next intake in 2021.
• You have been placed on the waiting list. This means that there is still a chance for you to get on the course if someone initially accepted for the course can’t accept their place. We aim to let you know the final outcome by 21 May 2019.
• Your application has been unsuccessful.
Please note that the admission panel is not able to give any individual feedback about your audition.
ExemptionIn very rare circumstances, a candidate who demonstrates an exceptionally high quality of creative work with an international reputation may be accepted on the course without attending an audition. This decision is made by the admission panel after careful examination of candidate’s application, artistic portfolio, motivation letter, references and interview.
